A first for Woorinyan
Woorinyan is about to open an Opportunity Shop in Frankston and we need donations of clothing, bric-a-brac, household items, books, music etc.
We will gratefully accept items that are clean and useful.
A team of volunteers to help us make it work is also required.
Would you like to become one of Woorinyan's Volunteers?
In Woorinyan's Day Service the focus is on community inclusion and building relationships between people with disabilities and others in local communities.
Opportunities exist to assist in a wide range of activities or form an individual relationship based on shared interests.
With as little as one hour per week, sharing a coffee, or visiting the library, you could be helping to create an exciting beginning for a person with a disability, who, without your help, may otherwise not experience.
With the help of volunteers, our aim is to create relationships between people with shared interests enjoying positive outcomes for both volunteers and people with disabilities.
